The warm and friendly staff provided efficient service, quickly resolving an almost-lockout situation. My room was equipped with heating for the frosty nights, along with free Wi-Fi and an electric kettle, all contributing to a comfortable stay. While the hotel decor has seen better days, the room itself was tidy and the bed inviting. Affordability was a strong point; both the accommodation and on-site dining offered good value. Despite a function causing potential noise, I found the atmosphere perfectly manageable. Ideal for those attending events at the Civic Centre or other local spots, this hotel strikes a balance between budget-conscious travel and classic charm-definitely worth considering for your next visit.
